Our client, a fast-growing Market Research agency with a special focus on new technologies, is seeking a Sales Director to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for a driven and strategic sales professional to play a pivotal role in expanding the company's footprint across various sectors.

The Opportunity
This position offers the chance to lead the sales efforts, shaping the future of tech market research by leveraging cutting-edge methodologies and insights. You will work closely with the executive team to devise and implement effective sales strategies that drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on the tech industry
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expansion into new markets and sectors
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to key stakeholders
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and its clients
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with market needs
- Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, setting high performance standards and fostering a culture of excellence
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in sales within the market research industry, specifically working for a traditional MR agency focusing on primary research (this is a MUST)
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable sales plans
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective negotiation and relationship-building
- Experience in leading and motivating sales teams, driving them towards achieving set goals
- Understanding of the latest trends in the tech industry and how they impact market research
