Now based in Stockholm, Rhys holds a Sport Science degree from University of South Wales. A naturally competitive person, he has represented Bulgaria in international rugby and played county-level football in Surrey. This drive, combined with his approachable nature, naturally led him into the world of recruitment.

With a background spanning sales, hospitality, and specialised recruitment within the pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors, Rhys discovered a strong passion for the Market Research industry. Over the past four years, he has focused exclusively on Market Research recruitment, earning four promotions during this time.

Rhys specialises in placing talent across New Business Sales and Account Management at all levels, Operations roles (survey programming, data processing etc). Full-service research and project management play a huge part in his day-to-day also, helping his colleagues and clients as and when needed.

He’s built strong relationships within the industry by attending major events such as Quirk’s Event, ESOMAR Congress, ASC Conference and more, connecting with leading voices in the field.

Across every role, from managing a rugby club bar to corporate travel and recruitment, Rhys has honed his ability to build rapport, solve problems and truly listen. He prides himself on offering a consultative, people-first approach that breaks the mould of the stereotypical “pushy recruiter.”

Outside of work, Rhys is an avid animal lover and a socialite who thrives on staying active and engaged.
