Rhys holds a Sport Science degree that he obtained from the University of South Wales.

He is a very competitive individual and has competed in international rugby and county football. This trait, along with his approachable and friendly character, led him to the world of recruitment.

As well as a wealth of sales and hospitality experience, Rhys has experience in specialised recruitment within both the Pharmaceutical and FMCG industries. He gained his huge interest in Market Research and its niche industry having successfully placed several individuals in some of the biggest players whilst in his previous role.

Rhys has now secured a just over 2 years under his belt recruiting specifically in market research, receiving two promotions during this time. Specialising in New business sales at all levels up to Senior Director, Account management and Survey programming and data processing / related roles, Rhys also works heavily on full-service research and project management roles. This has enabled Rhys to gain exposure to the industry immensely and keeps thriving to learn more. 

Attending dozens of events annually that have included Quirks, ESOMAR, Association of Survey Computing, &more and specific clients' talks, Rhys has met and enjoys meeting many prolific names within the industry. He has fallen in love with the MR industry and wants to build himself a portfolio and help Hannelius continue increasing in size and reputation.

Each role Rhys has worked, whether it be managing his rugby club bar, manging corporate travel or in recruitment, he has needed to build rapport, deal with various issues and fundamentally listen and resolve. Rhys is proud of his ability to listen and separate himself from the stereotypical ‘pushy’ salesman / recruiter.

As well as an avid animal lover, he is a socialite and wants to always have something to do to keep himself busy.
