The Client

Our client is a highly respected Global Market Research organisation. They have offices all over the world and have dominated the market in their field for over 20 years. Following their ongoing success they are looking to hire a Research Manager to support the corporate and media division, based in from their centrally located, and recently refurbished London office

The role

The Research Manager role will support all research initiatives across Corporate, Media and Advertising teams Reporting to the Research Director, the Research Manager in this role will be responsible for all aspects of the projects from design and set up,  project management, through to analysis and reporting. Working closely with the Sales team to support large business pitches, and with the Product and Operations team to oversee the smooth delivery of projects.  

This role includes direct face to face interactions with clients and internal stakeholders, requires exceptional communications skills and an ability to independently write and present research findings across the entire set of business bespoke solutions that our client offers 

Responsibilities    

  • Responsible for designing, managing, and delivery of research reports, to include research visualization and summary of findings to include insightful recommendations
  • Working closely with the Research Director and other stakeholders in the business you will be assisting in writing proposals and presenting final deliverables to clients.
  • This is consultative and advisory role so it is important that this person is comfortable in working and presenting at all levels.
  • You will be required to support development of sales materials through analysing industry trends, competitive landscape as well as primary & secondary research studies.
  • Aiding Research Director with insights and research projects in the form of client presentations, industry conference presentations, case studies, white papers and articles for trade publications

 

The person

  •   You will need to have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a client facing market research delivery role, ideally with experience in digital/cross-media advertising effectiveness
  • Ideally you will have advanced analysis & report writing skills focused on delivering insights and have the skills to deliver actionable recommendations to clients
  • It is essential you have exceptional communication and presentation skills; highly motivated, self-directed and capable of working under minimal supervision with a high level of initiative, energy & enthusiasm for learning.
  • You will have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and working with tight deadline while maintaining a strong client service orientation
  • You will be someone who is able to grasp and understand new technologies quickly (e.g., web / multi-media, multi-device) 
  • You will be a highly skilled quant researcher with some experience with qualitative techniques.
  • Language skills would be a distinct advantage in this role
