Sales Director - Germany

We are working with one of the fastest growing technology businesses in Europe. They are looking to expand their European team and hire a Sales Director for Germany. The business is headquartered in the USA and opened an office in London 3 years ago which has grown by 400% in that time.

We require an energetic, motivated and ambitious sales professional to initiate the German office to attract and develop client accounts and grow the business. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully build a sales funnel, prospect and close new clients by providing product expertise and advice to support new customers. This is a strategically important, yet hands-on position, working with many different types of, levels in organisations, and varying roles and levels to successfully implement and grow usage of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Using personal network, social media and contact lists to build and manage sales pipeline, prospect new clients and set up meetings.
  • Conduct product presentations and close deals.
  • Set up accounts and onboard new customers.
  • Learn and understand issues and challenges of customers
  • Respond to and resolve customer questions and issues
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Hire motivated and exceptional sales and operational team members


Requirements:

  • Hands on experience in a business development or leadership role, preferably within Market Research, Sampling or Software-as-as-Service (SaaS) applications.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious desire to exceed sales targets.
  • Experience providing outstanding customer care and support in a sampling, software or tech environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to produce annual budgets
  • A self-starter with strong multi-tasking skills and desire to continue to learn.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
