BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (or Senior Manager) – FMCG MARKETS | £40-50K + commission OTE £30k

An ambitious and dynamic Business Development Manager is needed to join an innovative and fast-growing technology company with a pioneering platform that provides versatile market research solutions for the world's leading companies and brands. A well-established business, with award winning market research expertise and one of the world’s largest online panels, our client is growing at a fast pace, and this is your chance to get in on the action!
As a Business Development Manager, you will join an already successful sales team and aim to target some of the largest CPG firms in the world. Working for and supported by the Account Director you will be focusing on both building client relationships and delivering solutions. Our client is looking for an individual that can think on their feet, take initiative, and is someone that is willing ‘to roll up their sleeves and get the job done’.
Responsibilities include:
• Deliver and exceed quarterly and annual targets
• Develop and maintain a healthy active pipeline of new business opportunities
• Conduct effective outreach on a weekly basis
• Uncover and resolve client challenges through a value based selling approach
• Build relationships at management level and day-to-day buyer level
• Conduct quarterly territory reviews to understand and plan for growth
• Collaborate with the Account Director to create a personalised account-based approach
• Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company’s systems and solutions
Requirements:
• 3-5 years proven successful new business experience with blue chip clients through consultative selling
• Experience working with or in CPG/FMCG or a similar sector
• Ability to thrive in a fast turn and consultative sales arena
• Excellent attention to detail, structured in approach and a strong communicator
• A positive attitude, with a growth mindset to continuously develop skill and knowledge
